What We Do

The East Carroll Voluntary Council’s on Aging core programs provide a wide range of in-home and community based supports that are helping older adults remain independent, active and at home. These programs serve as the foundation for the Network’s responsibility to bring together and coordinate a variety of services and activities for older adults.

All ECVCOA services are targeted at clients who are more vulnerable than the overall population of older Louisianans and Older America’s Act clients tend to be among the oldest of the old.

The ECVCOA provides services to those persons 60+ with a broad array of services such as Meals, Transportation, In-Home Services, and Caregiver Support that contribute to the overall health and well-being of older adults. Other services include Health and Recreation, Telephoning, Visiting and Wellness.
